Dominic Spedaliere’s passion for real estate began early, working within his family’s real estate holding company throughout his childhood. Mentored by his father, Vincent Spedaliere, Dominic developed a strong foundation in construction, property management, and the acquisition of multifamily purpose-built rental properties.
He later pursued Urban and Regional Planning in Toronto, where he worked alongside Abe Richmon, in-house legal counsel for the Wynn Family—one of Toronto’s largest private residential landlords with over 4,500 residential units and more than 3 million square feet of commercial space across the Greater Toronto Area. This experience inspired Dominic to pursue law, and he went on to earn his LL.B (Honours) from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom.
Following university, Dominic founded an investment banking firm licensed with the Ontario Securities Commission, raising capital for public companies focused on mineral exploration in Northern Ontario and Quebec First Nation lands. Working alongside geologists, investors, and public market professionals broadened his financial expertise and deal-making capabilities. After the 2008–2009 financial crisis, Dominic returned to his core passion—real estate.
Licensed as a REALTOR® in Toronto, Dominic joined HomeLife Metropark and quickly became an award-winning sales professional representing Treasure Hill Homes as Director of Acquisitions, where he played a key role in transactions totaling over $1 billion in real estate, specializing in sourcing and negotiating the purchase of developable land while building strong relationships with property owners and communities.
In 2021, Dominic was recruited to Fort Lauderdale as Vice President of Acquisitions at GT Homes, a company founded by Greenpark and Treasure Hill. There, he focused on sourcing and acquiring land that is now being developed into new communities across South Florida.
In 2023, Dominic founded Leaf & Palm Realty, with offices in Toronto and Fort Lauderdale. The brokerage specializes in:
- Luxury residential real estate
- Land development and off-market opportunities
- High-energy outbound deal sourcing
- Property management and asset growth
Today, Dominic’s primary focus remains acquisitions and asset management. Together with the teams at Forest Gate and Future West, he helps oversee a portfolio of nearly 1,000 residential apartment units and commercial retail properties.
